another zine call!! & an update on "self-portraits" zine inside

send me your unedited pics of:
words/paw prints etched into concrete
dolls left on the side of the road
abandoned tea kettles or other common/outstanding bric-a-brac
any left-behind-thing which seems to have a lot to say
submission guidelines
please send $5-10 via ko-fi as a tip You may email frequentcrierclub@gmail.com if you need a fee waiver
you may submit 1-2 pictures - please title the image files using this structure [LastNameFirstName_Title.jpeg]
email your submission to frequentcrierclub@gmail.com with the subject line “discarded zine submission”
include a 2-5 sentence third person bio in the body of your email
multiply marginalized folks especially encouraged to send work!

This new zine project, DISCARDED, has been brewing for literal years and it came to a head last week when I saw this toaster on the sidewalk who had a lot to say. I am a collector of all kinds of things and so reaching out to gather pics from likeminded folks feels so natural. I’m challenging myself to do photo zines because I tend to be incredibly wordy, and sometimes a picture really is worth 1000 words.

You might’ve noticed this time I am charging a small submission fee. All funds received will go towards my rent and other living expenses as I am an underpaid artist, and any support is greatly appreciated!
